A pioneer of the concept of consultative research, Opinion Leader was founded in 1992 and is today respected as one of the most important research consultancies operating in the UK.

We are famous:

• For having conducted the UK’s first ever Citizens’ Jury in 1994. We are now the world leaders in deliberative and collaborative methods having conducted more than 200 deliberative consultations over the last decade;
• We made history again on the 29th October 2005, bringing together 1,000 people in the country’s first Citizens’ Summit to discuss and formulate views on the future of the NHS;
• We are the agency of choice when it comes to engaging with Opinion Leaders or "seldom-heard" groups;
• We ran The Bigger Conversation on behalf of Sky which allowed them to listen to and engage with almost 200 consumers about their responsible business campaign and initiatives;
• We led the way in groundbreaking work to identify and work with "social influencers" – individuals who are particularly tuned-in to the people around them and whose influence and advocacy can yield exponential results.
