Engaging with 'seldom-heard' audiences
Date: 16 December 2009
‘Seldom-heard’ audiences – such as ethnic minority groups, drug users, the socially and financially excluded, children in care, vulnerable youth, people with specific health conditions and homeless people – are those groups whose voices are often not heard. At Opinion Leader we have extensive experience of accessing and consulting with these groups, and ensuring that their opinions are heard by those who matter.
This session will provide you with the opportunity to:
• Draw on the experience of researchers in recruiting and engaging with seldom-heard audiences
• Review the different approaches when working with these audiences
• Ask questions regarding any specific challenges you might currently be facing
The session is being held at our offices from 9am to 10.30am.
If you, or one of your colleagues, would like to attend, please RSVP to Rikke Kristiansen on rkristiansen@opinionleader.co.uk or 0207 861 3208. Please be aware that spaces are limited.
